Mark is the President and founder of CenterPoint Commercial Properties. He started the company on the principle that smaller local users deserve as much attention as the company’s large national clients. CenterPoint opened its doors in 2001.
Using close knit relationships developed while working with regional and local retail brokerage firms based in Dallas, Mark developed the company to offer as many resources as the big firms. He was then able to provide a full service retail firm, while still providing the personal attention that was the foundation of the company. His knowledge and contacts grew from years of working on both residential and commercial developments. Many of his existing clients elected to stay with Mark as he started his new venture. Many still remain with CenterPoint to this day.
Over time, his client list grew, as did his clients trust in his services. Along with shopping center leasing and investment sale assignments, Mark has represented many local, regional, and national users such as Verizon Wireless, Church’s Chicken, Jack in the Box, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky’s Deli, Metro PCS, Dickey’s BBQ and many more. By working with such a wide array of retail transactions of commercial real estate, Mark is able to bring an intricate knowledge of the market, which provides a better understanding of each investment. He uses this experience to insure his clients make the best decision possible to meet their own requirements.
Often Mark will state the CenterPoint is relationship oriented, not deal oriented. He and his team truly believe that if you take care of the client, everyone will succeed.
Mark graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a dual degree in Real Estate and Finance. He was born and raised in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area and his family stems from the real estate industry with over 80 years of history in the business. He is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Associations of Realtors. He has been in the business since 1992.
Nick joined CenterPoint Commercial Properties in April of 2006.
Nick’s real estate career began in 2003 with a small boutique commercial real estate company located in Dallas. Nick focused primarily on Investment sales, but began working with CenterPoint to assist with Tenant Rep leasing opportunities. Soon after he joined CenterPoint in 2006.
Nick’s background starts in both the accounting field and retail services industry. His excellence with numbers along with understanding what makes a retailer successful, allows Nick to see the true value of most assets. Nick specializes in the sale of shopping centers and retail investment properties across Texas. He has assisted in over $50,000,000 worth of real estate transactions since joining CenterPoint.
Prior to his real estate career, Nick’s first venture was a grocery store and restaurant. He opened it in 1992 while still in school at California State University, Northbridge. After graduating in 1994, he expanded the company by opening a second location.In 1999, Nick moved to Dallas/Ft Worth and started a consulting firm to assist small organizations with their business plans, site selection, business development, marketing, and merchandising of their products and services. His experience as a business owner and operator allowed him to have the insight and anticipation into other operators needs for success. Nick’s clients benefit from his astute personalized service and detailed knowledge of an investment.
Nick is an active member of North Texas Commercial Associations of Realtors and International Council of Shopping Centers. In his spare time, Nick is quite a cook and would consider himself a foodie.
